Having trouble choosing which Cardcaptor Sakura outfit to make for K-con.

The default pink outfit:

Pros: The one everyone knows and recognizes as Sakura. Cute little bows and the Clow Staff.

Cons: Everyone does this costume.

White Angel Dress:

Pros: Less cosplayed, little hair bows and uneven socks.

Cons: less recognizable and monochromatic. No Clow staff, Star staff instead.

I was actually very proud of my friend for putting on Reboot!Starfire and being so confident about it. We were all very worried about what the public reaction would be, considering how controversial the DC52 Comics seem to be. But she slapped that make-up on, pulled on all that purple and strutted her stuff. She was happy to be Kory and the people couldn’t have been more pleased.

There were so many young girls, women and even parents that stopped to compliment her on her costume and her confidence. It was absolutely amazing to see.

I’m so happy everyone liked it! Thank you all so much, it’s people like you that make me confident in myself to do this sort of thing; all the positive feedback and reassurance is welcome and I am more than grateful.
